Hello December!
The most wonderful time of year is here upon us...December! Christmas time. The time when we celebrate our Lord and Savior's birth! This month, we are starting a new series titled "Christmas: Unwrapped" where we will learn about the greatest gift the world has ever received.
December Events:
December 1st- Bunco night from 6-8pm! Bring a snack to share, ALL are welcome! If you can count to 6, you can play!
December 3rd- Fellowship on the Patio, Breakfast is served! Join us in between the 9am and the 11am services for food, fellowship and FUN!
December 10th- Ugly Christmas Sweater day- Wear your best Ugly Christmas Sweater!
December 15th- Fun Friday! Join us on the Patio for a meal and fellowship. Bring a dish to share.
December 24th- Christmas Eve services. Join us at 9am for our Family style Christmas Eve services. (There will be no 11am service)
December 25th/26th- Hope City's Office is closed for the Christmas Holiday.
Hope City Kids - Infants to 5th Grade during 9am Service
Toddlers and Pre-K- "The First Christmas Gift- Always With Us"
Your little ones will learn that God gave us His Son, Jesus, as the very first Christmas present. Jesus is Immanuel, God with us. He shines a light so we can see what God is like!
Elementary Classes- "Heroes of the Nativity"
“Heroes of the Nativity” is a Christmas series to help kids experience joy through faith in God. Life can sometimes be a little scary and uncertain, can't it? Even in the Bible, people faced challenges and unknowns. Just imagine being a shepherd out in the fields, a wise man following a star, or Mary and Joseph being told they would have a very special baby! That's a lot to handle! But guess what? They weren't alone in their journeys, and neither are we. God was with them every step of the way, showing His love, guiding them, and turning their faith into miraculous experiences. This curriculum will teach kids that when we trust God, we too can discover joy, love, and miracles in our everyday lives.
*Note: Christmas Eve (12/24) is a Family Service, there will be no Hope City Kids classes. Your children are welcome to join the whole family in the sanctuary!
HC Youth - Every Wednesday | 6:30p
December 20th will be the Youth Christmas Party! Show up prepared to play games, eat food and enjoy fellowship! Wear your best Ugly Christmas Sweater, there will be a contest!
There will be no Youth meeting on 12/27 and 1/3.
Young Adults - Every Monday | 7p
Have you ever felt unworthy? Not good enough for the Lord? Like your past is holding you back from experiencing the love of Christ? Come join us for this 3 week series called "Worthy."
December 18th- White Elephant exchange- bring a gift (can be funny or serious) and come ready to have a blast!
There will be no YA meeting on 12/25 and 1/1.
